I spent like 10 full energy bars in second sword area in Murkwood, and I still didnt see him even once. I have that amulet, I see that Encounter:Consumed Kapros is in the list of encounters for that area. I have amulet equipped on a wolf that I use to explore that area (I have a party of 3 wolfs and 2 companions). Maybe Im doing something wrong?

It's a really rare encounter, not comparable to the fishing stork or mining ox encounters (which are common enough to be, frankly, almost disruptive) at all. I have worse than average luck, but I spent the entirety of Murkwood's month-long festival campaigning there, maybe 4 hours every day, and never saw it. :P I finally got one almost 2 months later, but without a festival/event on, I only campaign for like.... Maybe a total of 10mins a day combined, and only long enough at any one time to fill in activity quotas, so it's not like I was intensively gunning for it!

So hopefully you are much luckier than I was! But I wouldn't rush it, it will happen inevitably if you just use that area to do your daily combat farming with the same team.

Yeeeah, just keep at it. I want to say, it didn't take me that long, maybe a few days after crafting the amulet? But, at the time, I was very fixated on the site so was playing for several hours a day. From reading other people's experiences some say they found it fairly quickly, while others had trouble finding it. Plus, the battle is actually pretty easy. I thought it would have been a harder encounter.
