Just as it says on the tin~

In Campaign there is a chance of an encounter to happen in some of the zones were you can attempt to befriend wild wolves to bring them home with you. Its a very rare chance though and you can see which encounters are available for each zone in their possible scenarios list. If you don't befriend the wild wolf, don't fret, it will drop a knucklebone. If you get 50 knucklebones then you will get a wild wolf hunt option from your hunting profession quests which will give you a wild wolf after the hunt is completed.

Okay! I kinda want one. I have had this account for a while but never played it, kinda got into it because I am broke right now on Flight Rising and to try this out.

I think I got two Knucklebones? It takes a while to get them, eh?
What does releasing the wolves mean? My wolves are level 9? I think.

Releasing is basically like exalting on FR, since you seem familiar with that site. :D Kind of the same principal even. The higher level the wolf the better the reward. I can't remember the exact amount of pebbles you get along with the Knucklebone though for releasing a level 10 wolf. You can't release your starter/progen wolves though, so it will have to be wolves you've bred, bought from other players, or have found as WWs that maybe don't suit your fancy. If you want to release a wolf there is a little tree icon by the pencil icon used to name your wolf.

I always forget about the whole companions being used to help level up wolves to 10, so Birdsofwax has a really good point there. But yeah, it can take a bit of grinding to get knucklebones or a WW. You'll eventually get one though. It always brings me some joy when it happens because its just so rare I kind of don't expect one to come home with me. Or maybe I just have really bad luck. xD

Okay, thanks for the heads up! I definitely don't wanna Release a couple of my progens' offspring. Like in FR, they might be valuable someday haha, if I am lucky :P
