Support. I agree wholeheartedly with the points Pizza has made.
It'd be nice to have something aside from just campaign/seasonal arena to earn tickets with. I know releasing wolves gives tickets too, but new players/nonrich players won't have the funds to blow thousands of pebbles on an extra ticket per wolf. This additional activity is just a nice thing on top for those who play the game with a different playstyle.
I got burned out by Goldsea's event super fast, probably because I participated in both Icerun's and Murkwood's events heavily. I barely even finished the Goldsea path because it just got so painfully boring to go back and forth between just two things on the site. Campaign, arena, campaign, arena, I got so sick of campaign especially! I'm still sick of campaign, and it feels like I'm trudging through it just to open up more tasks for the slightly-more-engaging arena. To bring up the referenced FR, at least you get event currency through interacting with like everything on the site. Bonding with familiars, gathering, hatching nests, trading with Crim, getting items from Pinkerton, bonding with Fiona's familiars, gathering up Arlo tools, coliseum, and I'm pretty sure exalting. On LW you get it through campaign, seasonal arena, or releasing wolves. There's probably one I'm missing, but the point is made regardless. We aren't getting extra currency in fishing trips, or while mining, or any of the professions. Our options for getting tickets on LW are simply more limited. Adding variety to these limited options would be nice.
To me this idea doesn't sound like an intent to speed up getting tickets, but rather an intent to allow a reliable alternative method for getting tickets that doesn't rely on buying pups to release. Of course the grinders would use that to get even more tickets faster, but we can't base the game just around how the grinders act. Casual players should be kept in mind.
