I believe it is intentional. I remember people complaining about how easy it was to buy lots of epic companions. I thought they would increase the price during the Icerun Season as that's when they would release the Seasonal Cache?, and it would be a good time to revamp the seasonal events in general.

If it is a bug, it would be very difficult to amend. Would they just give out vouchers to everyone. I doubt they track who buys what from the shop. And then what about the people who paid moonstones for the companions. It would be too messy to fix.

Ultimately, they should have just put a notice in the patch notes haha.

It's really strange to me that the Lorwolf team went to great efforts to release the seasonal event and hasn't seemed interested in checking any user feedback or potential bug reports related to the event.

I would really appreciate any sort of word on this. Even if it's just "whoops, can't fix it now" or "yes, this is intentional."

The retiring companions and apparel have gone back up to the prices they were during the Icerun event. Since Darkspine Seasonal Vouchers were in the game before the Icerun event and it seemed like they were intending for Darkspine to be the first seasonal before just running out of time, it's completely possible these are accidentally the old prices.

I'd just like to know one way or the other, and what the plans are for prices going forward, so I can properly budget and decide what to buy.

Echoing what others are saying that any sort of communication on this regard would be very helpful. Not just because it is a timed event with soft-retiring items and we're past the halfway mark, but because it has been 2 weeks and the silence is kind of eerie...

To be honest I’m quite disappointed that we’re about a week away from the end of this event and there hasn’t even been any acknowledgement of this or other bug reports that have been raised during the event

Regardless of whether or not this is a bug it should still be addressed and clarified for players.

You can't lean on Q for everything and just ignore things when she's 'out of office'.

@Alaunis So sorry for the ping, but we're running out of time for this and it's stressing me out, so I just wanted to be sure it was seen ^^; The retiring companions and apparel are using the old icerun prices, and no one knows if that's intentional.

Sorry again for bothering! I hope that's okay. I saw you handled the bug report at the beginning of the event when arena companions weren't combining, and I didn't know who else to reach out to.

@Alaunis Thank you so so much for handling the companion price issue! And I'm sorry to be immediately poking you again, but does this mean the Spider Web apparel set (the version that's soft-retiring) is the correct price? They're currently twice as much as the other sets. Looking back at screenshots from past events, this is the same price as during the original Icerun event, while during the Goldsea event the retiring set cost the same as all the others. ~~I don't remember what it was during the Murkwood event and can't find screenshots or trade logs to confirm either way.~~ [Finally found a screenshot! Murkwood prices were also the cheaper version]

I could see either version potentially making sense, so if possible I'd really appreciate confirmation on which is intended and which prices we'll see in future events. Thank you so much and sorry again to bother! I just want to be 100% sure the apparel wasn't accidentally overlooked because it's not mentioned in most of this thread.
