The Aleysis pack consists of Normal wolves and Ley wolves.

Ley wolves are a subspecies of wolves in Loria. The original ley wolves were refugees from a world called Saverlia, who came to Loria when their world became unstable and unlivable.

On the outside, they appear no different than other wolves, with the only difference being visible to other ley wolves. Ley wolves often have a cloud of ley energy around them, which can be seen by other ley wolves. This cloud of ley energy, which they call "hue," is unique to every ley wolf and often serves as a marker of ownership when injected into objects. It has a very mild calming effect on non-ley beings.

In addition to the normal circulatory system, ley wolves have a ley circulatory system. Ley wolves draw ley energy through the Ochoras and circulate it using the Leinaras. The Leinaras act as veins for the ley energy to flow through their bodies, much like veins and arteries carry blood. Ochoras are located on the bottom of their paws, and along the spine. They are tiny holes that are almost unnoticeable hidden under fur.

Normal Wolves cannot become ley wolves.

Use of Ley Energy

1. They can use it to sustain themselves without eating actual food.

2. They can crystallize it into a stone substance and shape it with ease. Ley crystal is naturally blue in color unless infused with dyes. They use this to create a lot of jewelry, mixing natural dyes from plants with the crystal to create vivid colors.

3. They can infuse ley energy into objects, increasing the durability and longevity of an item.

4. They can use it for healing, accelerating the body's natural immune system and healing processes.

5. They are immortal to a point. They do not age but can die from wounds and illness.

Beliefs

Ley Reverence: The ley wolves treasure the ley-lines as they are the only connection they still have to their home. Ley-lines are their own life force and without the ley-lines they would die out.

Ley Guardians: The ley wolves see themselves as guardians of the ley lines, responsible for maintaining their purity and balance. They spent years tirelessly working to restore the ley-lines of Loria to the best shape they could. They believe that doing this will not only help Loria but will also make their own lives better and improve quality of feature generations.

Knowledge and Study: They placed high value on knowledge, maintaining detailed records of their discoveries about ley energy. They have been keeping records ever since they had arrived on Loria.

Ley Energy

They can manipulate objects infused with ley. For example, they could make a tree bend to their will. However, it can only be used on an object that contain Ley energy; on Loria, the element is to be injected with ley energy before being manipulated.

Because each element is different and unique to control when infused with ley, it's common for wolves only to study one or two elements at a time. Eryx the oldest ley wolf has mastered water, fire and some basic plant-based control.
