I want to name one of my pups after a common food spread, but it's catching the filter because I guess it has some of the same letters as a bad word or something? I don't get it XD .
a restrictive filter requires less moderation effort than a weak filter. since a simple filter can't tell context and ai takes a ton of energy and is also bad at context, a lot of profanity lists just try to filter out every word than can possibly be used to insult or talk about sex regardless of whether it's also a common word, actually used for either or maybe is just morally wrong to censor (i've played a game where "gay" and "lesbian" were censored, but at least there was an option to turn the filter off). i don't think lorwolf has any in the last category at least
the lorwolf filter is also just bugged of course, i got hit by this on my first week here almost a year ago and it's still not fixed :/ no idea if yours is intentional, but i've seen people bring it up before, if i'm guessing the spread name correctly. consider "PeanutButter" or "Butter of Peanut"?
Iirc lorwolf uses a pre-made list of words they didn't create, and it has a lot on it. The filters have been modified after people requesting a change before, so I think you can probably send a support email to ask for filter adjustments.
