@Kyo Ahhh! I've never seen that. I do agree, they unlock as you seem to level. I'm at like level 59 for hunting, if that helps.

I wasn't offered the option to have a new hunting slot and had to outright buy all of them. With that said, I don't find much worth to hunting. I could go without it if it wasn't for achievements that have it. I echo the thoughts of everyone else, and I would definitely suggest to expand your mining cart once you reach the third or fourth areas. 15 slots is fine for bronze and silver, but it gets harder to maintain when you start pulling in mithril and more.

Idk if anyone has covered this yet, but i'll write anyway.

I believe that each player, noob or pro, has their own LW items/upgrades that they prioritize. I personally prioritize purchasing more dens and den slots as I tend to breed my wolves ALOT. You also aren't given much den space or currency when first joining either, which makes me grind for the upgrades (which is totally fine).

Another useful thing to prioritize is companions. Common companions usually have a cooldown of 1-2hrs. Each time you play with them you get pebbles & xp for it to lvl up. As your companions lvl up, they begin rewarding you with more pebbles which can buy you some useful things.

The last thing a newbie should do (in my opinion) is to check the Mole Market. You can find some items for cheap there, like seeds and crafting materials, as well as get a free bonus item every time the shop restocks. One time I got a perma-puppy potion as my free gift, which would have costed me around 30 moonstones. Hunting, Crafting, Farming, and Mining can all gain you wolf xp as well as a few trinkets, which can help with achievements, especially ones that award moonstones.

Overall i would (and do) prioritize the above.
