Definetly the Feasts! (Seafood,Fruit,Veggie,Nutty,Bread and Bug feast!)

They are all lvl 30 recipes and give 80 stamina :3 (I don't know if there are higher stamina recipies, these are just the ones i know!)

Edit: I also believe Hearty Breakfeast gives 80 stamina as well!

You get the best bang for your buck out of making the salads.

The bloodmoon salad doesn't give as much as the feasts but you can make A LOT of them since they don't take many ingredients! So it probably gives more in the long run because it takes less time/materials.

Define 'best'.. A lot of the 80 stamina foods can only be cooked in low quantities, take a lot of time, and require many ingredients. So the 'profit' of additional stamina compared to time and stamina invested is minimal in comparison to your basic cooked meat and cooked fish.

Ye, seconding raw fish meat for bang for your buck; 20 stamina per doesn't seem like a lot, but you can cook 480 stamina worth of food at a time with a fully upgraded pot. That same fully upgraded pot gets you a whopping 320 stamina worth of those "feasts" because most of them you can only cook 4 of at a time. :P I cook most other recipes one time to unlock them in the recipe book... and then ignore them, unfortunately. Maybe there is profit in selling them to folks, I'm not sure!

If the feasts (and really most of the recipes more complicated than simple cooked meat and fish) gave you more than one finished item per craft, they could be much more worthwhile! There is a lot of room for buffing higher tier cooking recipes without needing to unnecessarily nerf the more basic recipes (and thus make the early game just horrible for new players with small dens).

Bloodmoon salads are nice, but they also use the leaf piles, and those are used in some crafting recipes.

Apparently I zoned out and made thousands of salads. . . Honestly, I don't eat any of the food that the farmers use. I mostly stick to the feasts, cooked fish, meat, and eggs. I haven't sat down to crunch what you would get for some of these recipes if you just cooked their cookable ingredients as opposed to making the whole feast so . . . for the sake of science I might do that in a new topic or something and link back?

(Assuming no one else has done that.)
