turn off maitenence banner?

Is there a way to turn off the yellow banner announcement? It is making it very hard for me to read the drop down menus and activities sections. I was hoping to spend a bit of time playing lorwolf today after being on a hiatus for awhile but I don't think I can with this up

There is no way to shut it off. It will go away in about 6hrs ag rollover though!
