i have had issues where when i get wolves they are always too close to my other wolves even if I buy it from someone else and it's honestly starting to get a little annoying
Not a bug, really... You gotta check them bloodlines in the demo before you commit to buying anything, and remember to onlycheck the unsaved / not custom versions of those wolves together-- there are not a ton of active players, so bloodlines for some colors are really tight and you basically only have 1 other actively bred pair to source wolves from for a certain pair you might want... For some heavily-bred and oft-crossed lines, there may not be any left within 5 generations that aren't related anymore. You may need to start with wolves that are further apart in color than you really would prefer, get 2-4 pairs to begin with, and breed down another line of wolves in the color you need to create a mate for an existing wolf in your den.
I've had to do it several times for my own projects, and it's a pain to have to set aside den room for wolves you won't ultimately care about and often won't be able to sell! But it's unfortunately inevitable unless it's a really popular color with a ton of separate pairs. :S
