The fawn spots on the back are very cute, but I really wish the spots weren’t tied to the rest of the under pattern (legs and nose). I think the spots would have made a great accent pattern on its own, and a new slot for ”mutation patterns” could have been added instead.

Great to see a dev update though! A chapter 2 will hopefully create some hype about the game again.

100% seconding this! It also makes the distinction between 'under', 'top' and 'accent' genes way more confusing. We now have an under gene that adds an accented pattern on the top of the wolf?! As we say in Dutch, just sweep me up and throw me away, cause that is making no sense.

Another option would be to tie the spots to the accent gene together with the antlers, but personally I would not like tht, cause I honestly don't really like the antlers, but I do love the spots. So being able to have the small spots without having the antlers would definitely be preferable.

Don't get me wrong, I love the fact there's a new gene, and it's purchasable for pebbles, as well as the preview for chapter 2, It's purely the execution for the gene that's ... off, imho

To get a Knucklebone Token for a released wolf, you currently need to level up the wolf to level 10.

If the maximum level of a wolf rises to 20, does this mean that to get a Knucklebone Token you will need to level not to 10, but to level 20?

If this is the case, then increasing the level cap for wolves seems more bad news than good... :'<

That's a good point. Honestly I wish/hope level10 AND up will still give a knucklebone token, but all the way at lv20 it will additionally give a moonstone shard or something
