Attention: Cooking Camp has begun!
Hello hello ~

Hi, I am very shiny new and (unsurprisingly) I dunno what I'm doing. I do like the wolves here tho!

I also have many questions!

how do I get currency? and are there better ways to get it? and which is better to focus on collecting, pebbles or moonstones?

how do I get more wolves? There's breeding but are there any other ways besides that or buying them from the flea market? And is there a chance to customise colours or are the starters the only ones you can choose the colours for? (I've come from flight rising so I do love a good breeding project)

are there any things I should be looking out for? or tasks I should be doing every day? or anything that would be helpful to focus on straight away?

All good If you can or can't answer the Qs~ It's nice to meet the player base regardless!

Hi! Welcome to LW! :)

1. Pebbles are the common currency that you can get from daily tasks, selling items in your inventory, and releasing wolves. Moonstones are the premium currency, you can get it by spending real world money, but the achievements give out a good number, and you can craft them from moonstone shards. Moonstone shards drop randomly from most of the professions, and 10 shards can be combined into 1 moonstone. As for which to focus on, it kind of depends on your goals/play style? Moonstones are used for the rarer items/companion and are involved in a lot of player to player transactions, especially custom apparel, while pebbles are used more in smaller day-to-day stuff like getting food from the mole market.

2. In addition to breeding and buying wolves from other players, there are also wild wolves! They're g1s that can be found rarely in the campaign. If you encounter one, there's a low chance to recruit them. If they don't join your den, they drop a knucklebone token. If you get 50 tokens, it unlocks a wild wolf hunt in the hunting profession that is guaranteed to give you a ww. There aren't any ways to customize colors, but there are 2 color randomizing items: the besprinkler that randomizes all the colors and the eye besprinkler that randomizes only the eye color.

3. The daily activities are a good place to start! You get pebbles for doing them and they're a pretty good way to get used to the different site areas. The achievements are also pretty useful - there's a section specifically for new players, too, that's helpful for getting acquainted with the site! :)

I hope this was helpful, and if you have any other questions feel free to ask! I also hope this wasn't an information overload - I'm still in informational writing mode from my job lol

Welcome to Lorwolf!

For Pepples you can equip your Wolves with companions that give pepples, sell things from your inventory, or complete activities. Moonstones can be crafted or obtained through achievments. Moonstones are better currently i think

Some users give away wolves for free. The Startes are the only ones that can have colors you choose. For existing wolves you can buy pattern changes or an random besprinkler.

Have a good time!^^

There is a different weekly event every week that award tickets (which cannot be sold or traded). The tickets can purchase items in the event specific shop that week what you don't use will be saved for the next time. Every 24 hours the daily clock on the Daily Activities resets and those initial activities will award tickets as well. This week is Cooking Camp.

You can get a free item from Marvin in the mole market every six hours.

There are 4 seasonal events. The next one is in July so keep an eye out for it.

Another way of making pebbles is by leveling and releasing wolves. 1000pebbles per level. Level 10 releases give 10,000p and 1 knucklebone. You can equip Basidio and Kuzma to level wolves as well, even pups.

Moonstones can be purchased in the flea market with pebbles and you can sell some things for moonstones there as well. Don't neglect earning pebbles, though. You will use far more than you think.

@AsteriaDust

thanks for the advice, I forgot to ask about the events! I'm glad I can save up over multiple events, the pandas look so cool.

What's the current seasonal event? and what are Basidio and Kuzma?

Basido look like frogs and the green ones cost 450p in the Mole Market. Kuzma look like camels and cost 3000p I believe. So I suggest when you see a green Basido show up in the MM, buy it. Marvin will occasionally gift you companions as well.

The last Seasonal event was in April, the next one starts in July. Each event occurs in a different pack area and lasts for the whole month. January is Icerun, April is Murkwood, July is Gold Sea, and October is Darkspine. You will want to have some wolves and companions leveled up since the Event requires campaign battles to get tickets and during these events, the Consumed creatures you fight are more numerous and have higher levels.

Also, make sure after you finish Chapter 1 in your chosen pack, you play all of the other pack areas so you can have full access to every campaign area.

You also want to get to know the basics of how to fight in the Arena since the Seasonal Events have a specific Arena that also must be fought to get tickets. The difference is that the Seasonal Arena does not have a timer and is easier to win. Just learn how to combine synergies and companions to play the Arena and you'll be fine.

The Seasonal Event tickets can only be spent in the Seasonal Event Shop available during that month. Unused tickets will be saved for the next event. Items you can buy will be Event specific companions and Apparel. Some of them are only available for that one time event and are retired at the end of the month, not to become available again.
