Need Pattern Advice

So recently I purchased a very pretty WW and named him Achilles. I made him a Direwolf and made all of his patterns Leopard. This was very expensive. However, I’m now having regrets about his Leopard Under. I’m wondering if it would be better to give him Plain Under. This would essentially waste 75ms and add another 20,000p I’ll have to pay. But it might be worth it. (Lore-wise the reason he has a red-range Under is because he fought so much that his pelt was permanently stained with blood. But I’m not that attached to that part of his lore so I could remove it from his lore.) So, should I give him Plain Under, or leave him with Leopard Under? I do not plan on breeding him if that helps.

Plain looks better but I really don't want you to be wasting that 75MS I can see why you're torn

Our personal rule of thumb is to not replace moonstone genes from a sire or dam till they’ve passed it on to an offspring (( Merle for example- our least fav gene but every now and then looks nice )) may be worth considering pairing him just so the 75 moonstones don’t feel wasted ! ( this is such a hard decision we feel it ;o; )

Always take a look at the demo and what patterns would look best before applying them. The all yellow boi looks better, in my opinion.

I did do that thankfully, even before buying him! I’ve learned from that mistake RIP.

Unfortunately I have since chanced my mind :(

Im thinking of waiting for a week or so to see if I get used to the red. If not I think I’ll bite the bullet so to speak and use the Plain Under someone so kindly gifted me (I’m not sure if they want their name to be made public since they sent it via private message, which is why I didn’t mention it).

I like the leopard under too. It makes him look more three-dimensional. Either way, he's very pretty!
