Random wolf in my den??

Im truly sorry if this is a truly dumb question but I am lost :,)

Is there any way to see a wolf's history? My currency transaction history?? Because this morning when I checked my den I've noticed that this wolf was there and I'm so confused??? They weren't any of my wolves' pups or recently bought pups, nor do I remember buying any adult wolves recently. Are they a wild wolf? I'm not sure how wild wolves work, since I haven't saved enough knucklebones to ever befriend one. Maybe my ADHD is acting up and I accidentally bought a wolf? Idk

It’s possible to get a Wild Wolf from the encounter in the campaign and not just with Knucklebones, it’s just very RNG.

You can catch wild wolves in the campaign! It's just kinda rare.

On that note, sometimes double tapping does count in campaign (I actually caught a ww this way, was shocked to see him later), so maybe that happened?

Ooooh yeah, I use keyboard binding and sometimes I do double tap whilst exploring in the campaign. That makes sense!!
