It would be nice if you got a notification of a completed achievement. You don't know unless you specifically go to the achievement page.

Yes, a lot of people don't even know about the achievements, and the the rewards they could've been reaping from it so far. I would however like it to be opt in. Same as profession notifications letting you know for example a plant or ready to be harvested or your mining cart is full. Love to see notifications as long as they are opt in as people might not like to receive notifications.
