Gauntlet Turn Limit?

So I was doing the Gauntlet earlier today and got to Level 18. I was watching the fight, it was Turn 20 and I had knocked the enemy team down to two, an Abyssal Thrasher and a Crystalapin (A very annoying combo). I still had three wolves left and thought I had it in the bag. But the match suddenly ended after Turn 20. Has the gauntlet always had a turn limit. I have noticed I have been losing a lot sooner than normal in the gauntlet and I assumed this was due to poison and bleeds now lasting the correct # of turns (fixed in the most recent patch), but I don't recall there being a turn limit.

Yep. 20 round limit has applied to gauntlet and campaign for a while. Really sucks when you have like, all your wolves left alive and one enemy manages to stall you into a loss. Would be much better if it weighted the win to whoever had the bigger remaining team.

People've been asking for either a turn increase or weighted resolution to whoever has more team members left (doing both would be great since refreshing the page to skip having to watch it play out is fairly well known now) for a while now, it would be nice to see it come to fruition soon-- before the next event for sure! I don't know if there's still an active suggestion going for it, but it might be a worthy thing to dig it up and get more activity on it if so. :P
