The main advice I give to newcomers is that, if you reply to someone in the forums, you'll need to @ them, otherwise they won't get a notification! So if you were to reply to me, you'd have to add @TmstrBlmstr somewhere in your message :)
I started out the game not knowing this and was so confused why no one would reply to me lol
