Always take care when walking alone, lest you meet those monsters in the woods. They look beautiful at first (like snow), but then you see their too long faces, their all black eyes. And you hear their garbled words, spoken in sing-song voices. Like a parody of you. It's really such a terrible thing to know.
It's an achievement award! You get it when your total companion level reaches 30. There are 5 Vortexcanis in total - Sleek being the first, followed by Twilight for 75 total companion levels, then Riverland at 175, Impetuous at 375, and finally Relentless when your total companion level reaches 750.
I love these little guys so much! I'm working hard to get all of them.
