New Player Tips and Tricks?

Anyone have hints and tips for starting this game? I have been doing the hunting/fishing/activities, but otherwise I am not sure what to do! I looked into breeding my pregens, but they don't mix well together, so I was curious how to get more into this game!

Always take care when walking alone, lest you meet those monsters in the woods. They look beautiful at first (like snow), but then you see their too long faces, their all black eyes. And you hear their garbled words, spoken in sing-song voices. Like a parody of you.
It's really such a terrible thing to know.

For more wolves, you can check the flea market - they'll usually have a ton of wolves that are pretty cheap.

Alternatively, there are quite a few users here who run free wolf giveaways, me included. Not entirely sure who exactly runs all of them but I know me and Nap both run some. So you can check those out if you'd like!

Edit: Forgot to add, you can find wild wolves in the campaign! If you do the campaign enough, you'll have a chance to run into a wild wolf, and a chance to get it to join your den. If you fail the chance though, you'll get a knucklebone token, and when you get 50 of those, you can start a wild wolf hunt in the 'Hunting' profession!

My biggest tip is to only do what the activities at the top say. For example -- in cooking, there are more slots than you need to complete activities. You would want to ideally have both of the cooking activites (cook 3 things, cook 10 things) at the same time, and then you can cook 10 fish at once and collect them to get both activities. That way you only use the resources you need to use and can start gathering up some pebbles!

I too recommend the Campaign. It's quite fun to do all of the pack storylines and then obsessively hunt Wild Wolves, which are worth quite a lot.

Some things I do here for fun are:

-Nose around the forums

-Impulse buy wolves

-Participate in too many auctions so that my dens are now overrun with WWs

-The Gauntlet to test if my teams are even half decent

-Hunting, where I get to basically do puzzles(hunting quests) where I can change the pieces(wolf/companion combinations) to give me the best chance of succeeding(Oh wait you already do hunting, I hope you enjoy it and don't forget to look at the guides on hunting teams, they save my life every day)

-Seasonal arena. I don't like the normal one so much.

Wait, you were asking for tips... Ah well, I just gave you a heck ton of information you probably don't need, sorry about that :p

buy furlog deer or either type of kapura companions and put them on every single wolf you own.

They only cost 450 pebbles. You can play with them every hour and they give pebbles as a reward. After 2-4 plays they pay themselves off and start generating free money for you.

It costs me 47kp to pay nana every hour but I get ~92-96kp back from the companions. I pretty much double my pebbles every time.

This really seems like the quickest and easiest way to make pebbles. no grinding required.

Can I actually ask, how do you do the Seasonal Arena now that the Icerun event is over...? I too preferred that one to the regular one, but I don't see it anywhere anymore?

@Vaati you can't do the seasonal arena. If you go to the URL https://www.lorwolf.com/Seasonal you'll see that all it says is that Murkwood is having its event soon.

(Don't want to ping for such a minor reply or be annoying or anything.) Oh, I see! Thank you for letting me know. That's too bad that you can't play the Seasonal Arena right now. It was genuinely more fun than their actual iteration. (I really liked being able to advance to the next step when I wanted to; it allowed me more time to think over my choices and also to walk away from it for a bit too and do other things and was just generally easier to get into than the other...)

For newer players with low level wolves all you need is a level 4 and a level 2 and go to Goldsea area 2 (1st swords icon). After just 30 minutes I've got 102 meat
