Gauntlet Error?

I was just doing a round of gauntlet, and it ended in a defeat screen, but it shouldn't have? I was using split screen to do something else, but I did look over at the gauntlet screen to watch the end of the battle. One of my companions had been totally defeated, but my other four fighters were at full health. There's a possibility it timed out, but I don't think it did.

My team composition was jocol and kit in the front row, and crested snowloon, kit, and abyssal thrasher in the back row. The thrasher was the one that got defeated.

There's a 20 round limit (unfortunately), where you lose automatically if you haven't won by then, no matter what the status of your team members is. You might have hit that.

I came to report a gauntlet error, too, but a different one. Each time I finished a gauntlet round, it made me click the continue button 3 times and subtracted 5 food points each time before it would actually move on to the next round. My wolves were out of food by the time they went to round 4. I quit at that point (I was really only doing it to get the activity finished, anyway. Still)
