Hi guys! My name is Andi and I'm a long-time FlightRising player who came over from my silly dragon game to play a silly wolf game! Still getting the hang of how things work (there's so much to do!!) but enjoying every second of it. If anyone has any tips for a beginner, especially other FR players, let me know what they are! I used to be an FR player, but heya there! Yeah this game has a nice gameplay loop, can technically be on it forever, and no need to feed wolves if they aren't doing anything! That part makes me very happy lol.

Unlike FR, apparel and companions won't stop you from releasing a wolf-- unless the companion has been played with, for the duration of the (time until you can play with it next) you can't release it-- accidentally or otherwise, apparently there is a bug on mobile that has lead to several people accidentally releasing wolves they were trying to rename or otherwise interact with! While not common per say, it's a change from FR that I feel the need to warn people about because the release and rename buttons are so close together. :S To avoid it as much as possible, I recommend playing with a wolf's companion before doing anything else on its page, on mobile at least! I do it in general even on PC, but that's mostly out of an abundance of caution because I have a very twitchy mouse.

The other main tip is get used to regularly checking your auto-feed options, at the bottom right side of your den options. Each time you acquire a new food for the first time or if the back-end code edits a food item, the auto-feed settings get reset for those items. There have been suggestions to change the way auto-feeding works, but for now this is what we gotta do! It pays to only very intentionally set certain foods as auto-feed and refrain from listing most others, mostly for cooking recipes.
