[Event] Anniversary wolves

With LWs first anniversary coming up soon-ish, I’d like to present an idea for a fun and unique anniversary gift:

Anniversary wolves!

Every anniversary each player would get the option to create 1 custom anniversary wolf (starter breeds and starter patterns only). The anniversary wolf would be account-bound (and maybe even un-breedable?). They could have an icon or some text on their page to differentiate them from wild wolves.

The offer to create an anniversary wolf should be available for 1-2 weeks after the anniversary as well, as not everyone might be able to login on the exact day. Of course you would also have the option to NOT create an anniversary wolf should you not want one.

This would make every anniversary truly special and unique, and make it a fun event! It would also give players who may no longer like their starter wolves a chance to get a new special wolf with a design more to their liking.

(I know this suggestion is similar to a previous suggestion of mine, but I feel it’s different enough to deserve a post of its own. I actually think anniversary wolves is a better idea, as it would give every player the same opportunity to design a special wolf).

Honestly that's really cute. Being "account bound" would prevent it from disrupting the economy too badly, coupled with your other restrictions. Just a really cute little idea I don't think any pet site I know of has capitalized on.

I would support this! Even being breedable wouldn't matter so much with them being account bound. Maybe they could only ever have one puppy at a time? If that was possible? Would limit the impact too.

Yes support! I was trying to come up with an idea for an anniversary gift like this. (Like maybe having the option to redo one of your progens) It just [PROFANITY] when I joined and made my progens because I couldnt view the website and I didnt know the vibes. I would have made different dogs with the knowledge I gained from viewing other users dogs.

But having them account bound is a great idea! I just want this doggy for me <3 not to sell for a profit

Super support, especially if they're account bound! It'd be super cool honestly, to have a third 'progen' (in quotes because I'm not sure they would count as an actual progen), especially in honour of the anniversary!

I love this idea with the restriction that they can't be sold/bred! That way they're solely for personal enjoyment and can't be used to mess with the economy. They could have a fun symbol on their page for which anniversary they're from and make them special. Maybe there's something fun they could do with them in the lore too, as part of an anniversary event?

This sounds really cool! It would be something I'd love to see, just commemorating the site anniversary with a special wolf, especially if it's an annual thing and you can just have a small collection of wolves that grow over time that represent your growth on the site :)

i love the idea of unique ways of saying “i was at this event” so heck yes!!!! support!!! And if not a wolf, i think a title/forum decor/etc would be cute too :))
