Welcome aboard! At least your wolves will live forever here haha.
If you can and are comfortable with it, it's helpful to join discord communities for Lorwolf. I can DM you one, and Icerun has their own discord somewhere in the forums... here! https://www.lorwolf.com/Forum/View?id=10871
Boop!
If you have less than 5 level 10 wolves on your account, I will give you a level 10 wolf for FREE! Just PM me or check this thread: https://www.lorwolf.com/Forum/View?id=10869

Hello and welcome to Lorwolf! I've not played Wolvden but had heard about it but the fact your wolves die makes me sad.
With that said, a wee little crash course into things:
A super good place to start familiarizing yourself with the site is the Achievements, as they help guide you around the site and reward you for your endeavors with anything from pebbles, apparel items, moonstones, and more! Weeklies along with the achievement system are also a great way to break into the professions, so do check those out, as each week features a rotating shop!
If you're looking to earn some pebbles, getting companions from the Mole Market that reward pebbles and attaching them to wolves (the furmuses are good pebbles options; the Enderlings are Moonstone purchasable in the Mole Market and have even higher pebble payouts) is a good, passive way to earn. Make sure to periodically sell unused or excess materials and trinkets in your inventory that are accrued from companions, hunting, and campaign for pebbles as well!
There's also always the option of selling things on the Flea Market; if you're a creative, creating and selling CA, opening a sales thread for illustration or writing and such is another option; or if you have a service you'd like to offer others are all potential avenues to earn on the site. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination! (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
For the Arena, I really recommend checking out the beginner's guide: Arena - A Newbie's Guide and there's also a more in-depth guide: Arena - Advanced Guide that might help. The Icerun Seasonal event currently running is also a lot friendlier and faster introduction into the Arena and its mechanics, so I would highly recommend giving it a peek! Not to mention there're some super nifty seasonal items available~!
If you ever have any questions or find yourself needing help, don't hesitate to poke around on the forums (Questions and Help and Game Guides are absolute boons), as the community is quite happy and eager to help! You can especially see this in the User Events and Giveaways forum, where players offer up free items, wolves, etc. to new users or those needing help, so do check that forum out as well! (ノ*ФωФ)ノ
With all that said, I hope you enjoy your time here (and I am so sorry for the wall of text, lol)! ヾ(^▽^*)))
A tip I have is to only do as much as the activities say to do when you start out, and look out for activities that can be done at the same time.
Cooking activities will always say to cook 3 items or cook 10 items. Ideally, you can get 10 fish started up (NOT the maximum number!), and collect the cooked items when you see both of those activities pop up.
Don't collect the reward for a hunt until you see the activity saying to complete a hunt, and then immediately start another one if you can (but hunting is also quite difficult when you have very few wolves, so don't worry about it too much quite yet)
Exploring 5 times, finding 5 items while exploring, and defeating 10 enemies in the campaign can all be done at the same time. When you start to stock up on enough food, you can also feed all your wolves back to full when you see the "feed wolves 5 times" activity.
For mining, I always wait until I have mine 5 ore and mine 15 ore ready in my activities before I send my wolf to collect ore, and I always wait for the smelt 3 ores activity before I send my wolf towards the smelter. I have also noticed if I'm on the page after my wolf has mined 5 ore, I can immediately leave the page, collect the reward, and the next time I have the "mine 5 ore" activity, I can return to the mining page where it will complete the same activity a second time, because it only updates if you're on the mining page.
Even now I basically only fish when I have the activity asking for it, as your fishing trips are limited + your wolf will run out of stamina for each fishing trip, but I also have money these days to just hire Koda to do it when I'm lazy.
The gauntlet is a whole other beast that I barely ever do lol but you can just complete 1 round of it and immediately quit and collect the reward to quickly finish the activity.
I always queue up 3 items to craft at a time, and I collect them when I see the craft 3 items activity, and then immediately start the next batch of 3 items. Bone paste is pretty good for this, and cotton as well if you can get some seeds for that & start growing it.
I am a farming enjoyer so I'm pretty active throughout the day on that, but again, harvest when you see the activity for harvesting a crop.
I think that's all the activities? But if I missed one, same thing applies basically. If you do this you will efficiently use a smaller amount of resources and start grinding pebbles!
Don't be shy to make offers of pebbles/ms/hard-to-get cooking ingredients like milk and salt on any wolves in my sale den!
