A bit of copy paste from a previous response I've made regarding the Arena:

What I've found helps me get through arena is noting what combinations work for the bots or other players (when they're in) and use those as reference for future team builds. Positioning of your team (front line placement versus back line) is also pretty important, as some are a lot more squishy than others. It can also help to reference the attacks wolves and companions do, which can be seen on a wolf's profile or, for companions, checking the companion page.

A good rule of thumb for earning money is getting companions that reward pebbles and attaching them to wolves (the furmuses are good pebbles options; the Enderlings are Moonstone purchasable in the Mole Market and have even higher pebble payouts). Make sure to periodically sell unused or excess materials and trinkets in your inventory that are accrued from companions, hunting, and campaign for pebbles as well! Achievements also help guide you around the site and reward you with anything from pebbles to Moonstones, titles, apparel and more, so do check them out!

There's also always the option of selling things on the Flea Market, creating and selling CA, opening a sales thread if you're an artist/creative, or have some such service you'd like to offer others—there are quite a few options available if you put your mind to it!
