Why is it so hard to choose Icerun seasonal companions?

Seems like we’ll only be able to pick a few, and it’s so hard to decide which ones to choose! I’ve chosen the glistening crystalpin so far, and now I want to choose a consumed companion, but they’ll all pretty neat. Guess we just have to decide what stats/prizes we like….

I've been putting in overtime to get at least a set of the things they say they are going to soft retire, and I'm now collecting the returning Icerun specific companions. Once I have those, if I'm not too done with the grind, then I'll start grabbing the general companions.

It's a lot. I know it's not intended we get everything immediately, but it's a lot. As of right now, I've obtained all the soft retiring things, and the last two levels of the battle pass is a slog. I just don't want to miss out on the things that will become even harder to get.

Hello! I guess I’m confused about which ones are Icerun specific and which are general companions. It says the crystalapins and frost spinners will soft-retire and will be placed in a cache that’ll be available for seasonal vouchers in the future. Do you think these will be rarer than the consumed companions that will return every year in the seasonal shop? I guess I’m not understanding the difference. They both seem rare and sound like they’ll return only once a year

@Wolfster - Got my Username misspelled, so I didn't get that ping, just as a heads up. The first four under exclusive companions are going to soft retire. The Ice run Specific corrupted companions will return on a year to year basis, but only for the Ice Run fest. The General Corrupted companions will return from year to year, at all pack fests, according to questions asked.
So the BEST way to buy them, if you want one of everything, is to focus on the four exclusive companions, the Icerun Sets, and then the Ice run companions, and then to pick up whatever others you want at a later time.

I guess in short, is that I'm seeing the exclusive companions ending up at like Light Sprite Status over at Flight Rising, because it really is more like you need to be here, to be able to get them.

No problem! That's from my point of view, because I really do like the sets, but I'm kinda of trying to collect all of the companions, besides the KS ones. Once I get the battlepass finished, my grinding will slow down, and we'll see how many others I end up grabbing.

I’d like to collect all the companions too! And since I already bought the poinsettia and the Jolly Winter Hunter items (I couldn’t help myself), I can focus on the companions now. ^^
