Would it be possible to notify the community of the fact the announcement post has been updated again? I know I was struggling with understanding which items were going to retire and which ones weren't, and with me a lot of other folks. The change makes it a lot clearer but if we aren't notified about the clarification, people will continue to struggle and be frustrated.

I only found out because I was reading new comments to read the feedback of others on the event and someone commented that it was so clearly described in the announcement what would and wouldn't retire, which prompted me to reread it..

This event feels so grindy. I don't mind soft retiring items in general, but the amount of tickets that these items require is burning me out. I want to be able to get multiple sets of the apparel and companions, but right now I don't think I will be able to.

I will say the PVE arena is nicely designed. I overall like it better than the regular one. I just wish doing it so much wasn't required. I am already so tired of the arena and it has only been a few days.

I kind of wish that we didn't have the seasonal activities and instead the ticket drops were increased across all regular activities so people could pick and chose how they wanted to grind. I can do the campaign all day long and not burn out, but I get tired of the arena very fast. I am sure there are others who feel the opposite.

Here's what I love about the event:

1. I LOVE the Icerun PvE Arena! I don't think well under pressure and not having a time limit has removed the one thing I hate about the regular Arena. I don't play the regular Arena at all because of this. The Icerun Arena is my number one favorite activity for this event! I enjoy thinking about the synergies and risk reward of what I pick. It's perfect for someone like me who loves to think about strategy but can't do it well under pressure.

2. I enjoy the Campaign new bosses, difficult as they are. I've enjoyed seeing how people build their teams and trying new things to survive these mobs and bosses. Campaigning is my favorite thing to do for normal activities so this brings extra variety.

3. I LOVE the winter wolf apparel! I want as many as I can get! This leads me to what I don't love about the event.

What I DON'T love:

1.Too many soft retiring items. In other games I enjoy getting what I want for my pets and having a few extra to sell. I will definitely have nothing to sell, and I won't be able to get what I want in the particular colors that I love for specific wolves I want these items for because I'm not even sure I can at least collect one of each color set. I might have to skip the companions altogether.

2. FOMO! Event items cost way too many tickets and the activities to get those tickets are simply not enough for casual players like me. Even with the premium pass, I simply don't have time as a full time day job worker, or the health as someone who suffers from carpal tunnel to meet the minimum daily ticket quota to get one of each soft retire item before the event is over. Even if I exclude the returning apparel and returning companions, I still fear I won't get even one of each thing that will be harder to get in the future. This feels terrible as a player. Games should be fun and not tainted with the terrible feeling FOMO gives.

3. Ticket drop rewards not balanced around the cost of event items which brings me to point number 3:

4. Ticket cost of items being balanced to reign in high end all day grinding players. I've already made a suggestion thread about recent game changes being balanced towards grinders, but I'll repost what I wrote in it concerning this particular event here as event feedback.

I have now begun to irritate my carpal tunnel trying to refresh battles and do the Icerun event as fast as possible for FOMO! Hurting hands means I can't play at all! Because of this, I'm not hitting the daily ticket limit needed to get just ONE of each limited soft retire item before the event ends. I can't even dream of getting several of the same things to decorate my wolves with.
This event seems to be tailored to curb in the 24/7 all day grinders, and it's hurting the rest of us (some of us physically literally). Not only that, there will be no economy for the event items because people will want to hoard them since they are so hard to obtain, and the few items that might sell will be so high that people WILL NOT buy MS for them because it will be way more than most of us can afford. You are hurting your players, your economy, and your income as a company by balancing the game for the grinders and against the rest of us.

I have to say I'm not a fan of this Confuse mechanic. I don't enjoy being at the whim of RNG deciding whether I lose because my battle party decided to just attack each other at full damage. It's not exactly fair, especially because we can't inflict a similar mechanic on the enemy. I'm losing against otherwise easy enemies in Icerun because of this nonsense. Please get rid of it or nerf it.

Who thought this was a good idea?

For real. It's painful in the Icerun Arena. The fact that it's permanent and transferable just make it so much worse to deal with. None of the other buffs or debuffs are permanent; why's this one?

I just wanted to come back to this a few days into the event and applaud y’all for how well-balanced the seasonal event is!

I know there’s been a lot of opinions on how expensive things are on top of the soft-retiring of items, but having completed the Battle Pass I realized getting that far is enough to get a complete set of all apparel + all companions except the general consumed. And we still have most of a month to go!! So that seems like plenty of time for more casual players to fill out their collections while grindy players can dive into the general consumed companions or picking up extras of the other items.

Great job on this event!!
