Rogue and/or Primal, yes. We don't have a wolf with either and that should be remedied! Though Primal feels like it makes more sense for it at least.

Definitely rogue! Rogue/protector would be neat imo :)

A wolf with primal would be cool too, but besides the connection of the word primal I'm not really feeling it for a dire wolf. But who knows! I wouldn't have associated a maned wolf with assailant either.
