Hello! I was just curious if there was a good catch-all/works-in-most-situations team for the gauntlet, like how there are ideal team comps for the third sword icon bosses. Since the enemies always change I’m not sure if an ‘ideal’ team comp exists, but I thought I’d ask anyway. I’m not good enough at understanding skills and when they’re used (in any game, not just LW) to figure out a good team comp myself ^.^’
I honestly don't understand the synergies either, but my Gauntlet team consistently goes to LvL 11. Sometimes dying at LvL 9 if the team is weirdly strong.it's a full defence with heal team, but it seems to work reliably.
And to be honest, I'm not even sure if it's technically possible to go over LvL 12 at this point in LW.

i'd love to know this too! i get up to level 11 (hehehehe) regularly, but i can't get past level 11. i usually run with 3 jocols/kits and a KS Crane + one of the volt lizards.
A great starter team is 2 kits, 1 jocol, and 2 Furmus.
Verani and Thrashers from the hunting and fishing activity shops are also really good and able to get with some pretty regular playing or buying for ~40 MS each.
I'm currently running 2kits + 1 jocol + KS Krane + Thrasher, but the highest I've gotten is 19- haven't found made a combo to finish the achievement yet but a friend is letting me borrow their Krane soon to see if that's the magic recipe.

It looks like their personal best is level 18.
My own personal best is level 16. I believe my team was made up of 1 Jocol, 2 Bracchus, and 2 Kits (not 100% sure, but I remember it was full of all the level 10 wolves I had at the time, and I had the first healing synergy bonus).
A lot of it is down to random chance. The guide I linked goes into more detail.
A neat tip that could save you some time: Whether you win or lose a battle is calculated at the beginning of each battle (before the animations play out), so refreshing the page will make it so you can skip watching the battle and know immediately if you won or lost. Note that there's always a 30-second cooldown before you can go to the next round.
