Do certain mining ores give more xp when turned into bars?

Just as said on the tin, do certain ores give more XP than others? I want to know what ore would be best to farm levels- or if I can just use the base area and keep getting better areas I can access without spending more time on it?

different ores give different amounts of xp once smelted. Generally speaking the rarer the ore the more xp the bars give you
